on some websites they give the option for people to be automatically logged in when the site is loaded, any chance of this happening on here?
i think the main problem with this is that if someone else uses the computer too, they can just as easily log in as you. :). no harm in just typing your user name or id
what if you can't remember either of those?

This was suggested a month or 2 ago, and I'll say more or less the same thing that I did then. I think this a bad idea. Too likely that someone could mes with your account or that you'd forget to log out etc. I'd give better examples, but I'm half asleep. I'd suggest looking for the topic asking for this in the past for all the discussion.
Well, considering that so many sites do it, I think that it's ashame that The Zone doesn't. We certainly wouldn't be the first or the last. I don't see why we should be different from other sites that allow it in this regard. I mean, the people on those have to face the same issues that were mentioned here.
Internet Explorer does have an auto complete option. it's not exactly the same, but it works if you don't share a computer. Besides, sometimes people just want to load the site to see who's logged in without actually logging in. Also, premium members wouldn't have the option of logging in invisibly if auto loggin was set up.
Why wouldn't people have the option to just see who's on? Just don't check the box that says remember me.
i like this idea, but i think that it should do auto filling in instead of a full log in. My firefox saves my info so it's no big deal for me, but for those who don't know how to use it, or use a mobile device such as a braillenote or something would like it i think.
Yeah. I like the idea of auto filling in as well, although I think Internet Explorer can do that too, if you want it to.
